Duties and Tasks:
- Advising new and returning students
- Assist with recruitment activities including attendance at recruiting events
- Register and track students for appropriate course selections within the Colleague system
- Maintain/update student files and paperwork (i.e. PUR, graduation. Applications, etc.)
- Track student graduation status and complete graduation clearances
- Coordinate student field replacements, internships and other student related activities
- Coordinate new student orientations each term
- Support the center by answering phones, scheduling appointments and other office duties
- Be a vital and contributing team member
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- Academic or other counseling background, preferred
- Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities
Skills:
- Experience in higher education administration preferred
- Experience with non-traditional students preferred
Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word and Excel
