Qualifications and Skills

  • 5 - 8 Years of experience in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural inspection, preferably in large-scale industrial or aerospace projects.
  • Familiarity with the installation and inspection of structural steel components.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interactions.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and heights. Knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections of structural steel installation to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and construction teams to provide technical guidance and support on structural matters.
  • Identify, document, and report any discrepancies, defects, or non-conformance issues to the project management team.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, structural designs, and construction plans.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and ensure continuous improvement in construction practices.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections and prepare reports for project stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices in structural engineering and construction.
