We are looking for an experienced QA General (Functional and Automation) Engineer to join our growing testing team. The job
includes deep-testing of a Complex financial service and its corresponding application. The work is a
combination of analyzing large log files to verify processing correctness, and testing a complex UI
application.
Responsibilities will include:
- Becoming the house-expert of the application
- Be a part of rapid testing cycles to deliver high quality products
- Digging the system for missing requirements
- Going over specifications documents thoroughly to find special cases and scenarios
- Doing full coverage for Configuration files to find problematic values and combinations
- Automate every manual flow by using Automation tools via AI
- At least 3 years of experience as QA for complex systems
- Familiar with the following technologies : Linux/Unix, SVN or GIT, scripting language (Bash, Python)
- Strong bug detection and root cause analysis skills
- Automation experiencd : Robot Framework , Playwright , Python (or equivalent)
Advantages
- Financial background : Forex, equities, trading, algo trading
- Experience in writing automation tests for applications in unix and windows environments
- Experience with scripting languages - python, bash, perl, php or equivalent
- Experience with some of: YouTrack, C++ and Angular applications , Jenkins or CI/CD
- B.SC in Computer Software or equivalent
Skills Required
- At least 3 years experience of server-side QA
- Familiar with Linux/Unix, regular expressions, SVN or GIT, scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Bug detection abilities and good analysis for root cause detection
