Make is looking for an Executive Strategy & Operations Manager to play a pivotal role within the CEO Office, driving high-impact strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. The position is integral to supporting the CEO's agenda, delivering on business priorities by collaborating across teams internally and with external stakeholders. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute directly to Make's strategy, reporting directly to the CEO. As part of the CEO office, you’ll have an amazing team of colleagues who you’ll be working with very closely.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the CEO to drive strategic projects, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, goals, and priorities.
- Execute cross-functional initiatives that support business-critical outcomes, including organizational scaling, process optimization, and performance improvement.
- Manage the strategic leadership team’s agenda by coordinating key operational activities, project plans, and timelines across departments.
- Synthesize data, prepare insights, and deliver clear reports for the CEO and executive leadership, offering recommendations to inform decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leadership and external partners to advance company priorities.
- Identify operational and strategic gaps and opportunities for improvement, that enable Make to grow.
- Contribute to key business activities, OKR initiatives and day-to-day operations to ensure consistent execution of company objectives.
- Foster internal communication via company wide meetings, announcements and presenting on behalf of the CEO office
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, a startup, or a high-growth technology company.
Proven experience working directly with senior leadership, with exposure to strategic decision-making.
- Strong understanding of business operations, organizational processes, and scaling frameworks, particularly within software or tech-driven environments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a bias for action.
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and presenting to executive leadership.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with precision and focus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive mindset and the ability to identify opportunities, take ownership, and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative explorer with an ability to work across functions, explore new ideas, and build partnerships to drive innovative solutions.
