Job Description:

To achieve this ambition, IPSEN focuses on innovative and differentiated assets and bolsters external sourcing model/ business development to expand its innovative Specialty Care pipeline.
The role:Support Executive Leadership Team / Senior Management in decision-making and arbitration related to the overall strategy of the Group
Support Group transformation by bringing a cross-functional and independent view
Lead/support strategic & transformation projects either as project managers or as contributors
Orchestrate the Group’s long-term strategic plans across Group divisions and functions
Produce strategic analysis/benchmarks on a broad range of metrics and KPIs
Role model the cultural transformation of IPSEN into a leading global Biotech focused on innovation and specialty care
Support strategic and/for Group Transformation projects:
Lead/support Group transformation (e.g. R&D transformation, due diligence excellence, cultural transformation…) or functional / business line strategic projects (e.g. on a product/therapeutic area, on a geography, on a value chain area…) either as a project manager or as a contributor
Support the execution of strategic projects by acting as PMOs
Monitor the delivery of third-party contractors in a timely and cost-effective manner
Participate actively to the alignment of internal stakeholders
Identify remediations and leverage their IPSEN network
Orchestrate the planning sequence:
Orchestrate the Group long-term planning sequence (approach, deliverables, modelling, risk escalation)
Be responsible for the coordination with Finance on the mid-term group planning sequence
Design and conduct analyses on mid- and long-term Group plans (P&L analysis, financial indicators, sensitivities, upsides / downsides…)
Team members are exposed on a regular basis to EVPs/SVPs levels. Though benefiting from the support of the Directors and VPs, they need to be capable of interacting autonomously at that level. Also, managers need to be capable of engaging with Project Leaders from third party contractors, in particular from Strategy & Management Consulting firms
RequirementsExperience/educational background
Business school and/or PhD and/or PharmD and/or MD Minimum of 4-8 years of previous work experience in life sciences and/or strategy consulting
Ideally: Consulting and knowledge of healthcare environment
Skills & Attributes
Fluent in English
Leadership skills required to influence outcomes, communicate with all levels of the organization, and facilitate development of solutions to address critical business needs
Interpersonal and facilitation skills necessary to drive alignment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interface with technical, scientific, and management internal user groups
Proven ability to scope, develop, and manage projects
