Strategy & Programs, Global Operations
This role will sit in the Strategy and Program team within Adyen’s operations function. Operations consists of 4 domains:
- Support
- Professional Services
- Merchant Operations
- Supply Chain
This team has 2 main focus areas: facilitate ops strategy development & planning, and driving global, cross-domain programs, central to our execution, with speed and scalability at its core.
In your role as Program Manager, Global Operations, based in Amsterdam and reporting to the Head of Strategy and Programs, you will take on a specialised focus area of either:
- Digital
- Unified Commerce
- Platforms & Financial Products.
What you’ll do
You will play a key role in your scope, to facilitate and coordinate cross domain programs such as:
- Operational impact assessment and readiness for new products or commercial ideas/direction
- Operations involvement in supporting company wide commercial growth drivers
- Annual planning with the operations leadership team.
- Interpreting data and performance metrics across operations for your chosen scope at a good cadence, and driving appropriate action
- Drive/support communication initiatives, and/or events
- Apply your strategic and big picture lens in connecting the dots, as well as in identifying process-related roadblocks or accelerators throughout the year.
These programs are essential for reducing complexity today so that we can scale in the future, whilst keeping customer experience at our core.
Who you are
- You have 6+ years of experience in managing complex projects or programs in (strategy) consulting or fintech/banking.
- You are comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity, always striving to simplify and clarify while adapting swiftly as needed; ideally proven in a product/ tech context; and/ or you have been part of a rapidly growing company
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data/situations and draw actionable insights.
- You have excellent project management and organizational skills to effectively handle multiple projects and prioritise accordingly.
- You have strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- You have excellent people and relationship building skills that allow you to influence and collaborate across all levels of the company
- You have a track record in delivering impact, and never letting the ball drop.
