About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Strategy & Portfolio Lead (d/f/m) for our Continence Care Category. While the role is based in our Gothenburg office, we’re open to other Essity locations including Munich. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic, international environment.  

Lead the positioning, pricing, and architecture work for the selected target audience portfolio. The role supports the development and ongoing refinement of the target audience strategy and drives the target audience architecture in close collaboration with key stakeholders. It is also responsible for coordinating the target audience 5-year BGRM work, ensuring alignment between the long-term roadmap, innovation, and renovation pipelines, and communication priorities. 

Working closely with Innovation and Product Management Directors, Category leadership, Masterbrand & Communications, Consumer Insights, and regional marketing teams, the role supports cross-functional alignment, decision-making, and execution readiness across markets and channels. 

What You Will Do
  • Strategy: Drive the development and ongoing refinement of the target audience direction, including strategic priorities and implications for the portfolio and go-to-market.

  • Target Audience Architecture: Define and maintain the architecture (e.g., pillar logic, tiers, range/nomenclature principles, and portfolio coherence), ensuring clarity and consistency across target audiences, markets, and channels.

  • Pricing Management: Drive strategic pricing recommendations and pricing architecture across the portfolio together with the pricing organization.

  • 5Y BGRM: Coordinate the 5-year BGRM planning and consolidation to ensure an integrated roadmap across innovation, renovation, market champs, cost saves, evidence, education, and communications priorities in order to support long-term objectives

  • Leadership: Lead and develop one direct report, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management while building capabilities, driving accountability, and supporting the successful delivery of omnichannel initiatives. 

Who You Are
  • 7-10 years of experience in relevant field

  • Strong experience in strategic marketing, portfolio/brand architecture, and commercialization within a global matrix organization

  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional planning processes and coordinate multi-year roadmap initiatives (e.g. BGRM-type planning) in close collaboration with innovation and product manager directors, regional marketing teams, cc new business teams

  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making without direct authority

  • Experience working across functions, regions, and categories in a complex business environment

  • Experience with strategic pricing, value/price architecture, or portfolio pricing recommendations preferred

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and operational alignment

  • Leadership skills and experience in direct people management 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex priorities into clear recommendations and actions

  • Fluent in English, Spanish language is an advantage
