Key responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Strategist who is:

  • An innovator - Innovation is central to what we do, and we are after someone who can continually challenge the media status quo, deliver stand out work that builds client relationships and receives client and industry recognition.
  • A big picture thinker and natural collaborator - iProspect is a central part of the Dentsu network – a network with deep specialisms, and a collaborative culture and structure. One of the important functions, then, is to be able to help draw these specialisms together to deliver integrated game-changing solutions for our clients. 
  • An individual that knows how to generate (or spot) fresh insight. At the heart of iProspect’s approach lies a deep understanding of real people – to really set brands apart, we need to aim for fresh and unexpected insight to drive our work. You should have a natural interest and curiosity about people, always asking why and digging for more - an ability to look for unexpected or lateral connections.
  • Dedicated to pushing better ideas. Someone who likes to explore new ways of doing things. Who asks “what-if?”. Someone who likes coming up with ideas and is not afraid of putting them out there with conviction.

Key Attributes

  • We are looking for someone who can gain the respect of very senior clients, but also inspire junior people simultaneously.
  • A natural collaborator who can draw different people together and help them be greater than the sum of their parts - a person who will thrive on creating an enjoyable, collaborative process behind every output.
  • The ability to keep things simple and actionable whilst generating cut-through.
  • A strong understanding of insight and data.
  • This person might have held a senior strategic role in a media or communications agency but might also have held a senior strategic role in a through-the-line creative agency or client/brand organisation.
  • Marketing or Media based qualification and or 5+ years’ experience within Strategy and Comms Planning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Insight development across clients.
  • Pushing innovation on all levels through client teams and briefs.
  • Producing and tracking award-winning work across accounts.
  • Training (clients and staff) through bespoke workshop design.
  • Adding full marketing expertise and value to clients.
  • A strategic business consultant as opposed to a media specialist.
  • A thought leader within the industry.
  • Product ownership – strategy consistency and process rigor across teams.
  • Full understanding and implementation capability around broader industry adjustments and trends outside of day-to-day workings.
  • Works on all agency pitches – overseas full strategy complement per pitch.
  • Comprehensive grasp on both the traditional and contemporary market and media arena.
  • Trends forecasting.
  • Media agency external communication initiatives.
