General Intuition is the frontier lab for acting in space and time. We build large action models and world models that can perceive, predict, and act across virtual and physical environments. General Intuition builds on the strength of Medal, the world's largest and fastest-growing platform for gaming clips, where millions of gamers capture, share, and discover new games every year. We recently raised $320M at a $2.3B valuation led by Khosla Ventures with participation from General Catalyst, Eric Schmidt, and Jeff Bezos, to discover the next generation of real-world intelligence.
The RoleWhat we're looking for is a generalist who can make our operations run better.
You've worked at a top startup or scale-up in tech and you're used to processes that are half-built and unowned. You'll take a manual process, work out where the time goes, automate the repetitive parts, and make it run without you. Some weeks that means building the tool, some weeks it means doing the work by hand first so you understand it well enough to automate it.
What we care about:
You live in NYC and are available to start within the next 6 weeks
Hands-on experience at a top startup or scale-up in tech
You can take on problems outside anything you've done before
You work on your own initiative and don't wait for scope
You fix problems rather than write memos about them
Skills Required
- Must live in New York City
- Must be available to start within six weeks
- Hands-on experience at a top technology startup or scale-up
- Background at a tier one university
- Ability to take on unfamiliar problems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong problem-solving and execution skills
What We Do
General Intuition is an AI research lab and public-benefit corporation building frontier and world models that help machines predict and act in dynamic environments. Using billions of action-labelled gameplay clips from its sister company Medal, the lab trains systems on physics, human decision-making, and consequences. Its mission extends to agentic models, robotics, and AI agents inhabiting real and imaginary worlds.
