Job Description

We are searching for a highly qualified Strategy & Operations Specialist to work closely with our Chief of Staff for EVP of Lending Business Unit. From day one, the Strategy & Operations Specialist will be assisting directly the Chief of Staff in streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, leading key areas of cross functional initiatives and communicating objectives between departments.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, in a fast-paced environment, with a special focus on executive-level delivery and interdepartmental collaboration. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with the potential to make your mark on the next chapter of our business.

Objectives of this Role

  • Lead on strategic business projects from development through successful execution.
  • Assist and communicate with executives and leaders across Finastra in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Drive strategic system implementation and process automation through others


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational business reviews and planning: facilitate and drive monthly/quarterly operational business review preparation and review
  • Strategic projects / initiatives management: develop and drive often cross-functional strategic / operational projects and initiatives
  • Business processes: establish a business cadence with cross-functional stakeholders across the Lending Business Unit
  • Data and reporting management: establish improved data and reporting framework across the business unit – data hygiene, processes and recurring reports/ inputs required to support operational and ad-hoc requests

Qualifications

  • Overall 6+ years of experience with 3+ years of business operations or business strategy consultancy / corporate strategy or corporate development
  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail, strong at execution
  • Successfully collaborate and influence across multiple teams and levels
  • Clear communicator with professional presence; experience working with senior stakeholders, ability to influence (verbally, written material) to drive to an outcome
  • Proven track record in project and business management
  • Strong Microsoft office skills esp. PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, high impact communications
  • Agile mindset and being comfortable with ambiguity, action oriented, able to work independently and synthesize vast amounts of info quickly
  • Understanding of Software industry and/or Financial Services industry is preferred
