What you'll do
- Advise the business’s leadership on opportunities and risks, backed by quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Build and maintain financial models that forecast performance and unit economics
- Define key metrics, set SLAs, and build dashboards that quantify operational performance across internal teams and external partners
- Design business intelligence tools that detect and diagnose performance issues across the operation
- Systematically analyze the operation’s financial data to identify errors, trends, and savings opportunities
- Perform deep analyses on large, complex datasets and translate findings into clear insights, hypotheses, and recommendations
What you'll bring
Base Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in banking, consulting, or high-growth tech/fintech
- Strong proficiency in Excel and SQL - your colleagues come to you whenever they have a question about a spreadsheet or a query
- Analytical problem solver — able to break down ambiguous problems and apply first-principles thinking
- Meticulous attention to detail — comfortable digging deep to diagnose issues and identify root causes
- Communication skills - connect the dots between operating metrics, financial outcomes and business strategy in written and verbal format
- Self-starter — able to prioritize and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fast learner — naturally curious and eager to master new tools, topics, and operational domains
- Scrappy and resourceful - when something needs to get done, you find a way to make it happen
- Experience working for a technology startup which has significant real-world operations/logistics
- Comfort with a scripting language (Python or JavaScript) for data cleaning, automation, or analysis tasks
- You’re a tinkerer who has experimented with agents/LLMs for personal or professional projects
