LanguageWire is looking for an ambitious, analytically sharp Strategy Manager to take ownership the company’s corporate strategy, how its structured and how its operationalized, and executed. In this role, you will bridge high-level corporate strategy with financial discipline, commercial execution, and M&A.
Key Responsibilities and ImpactYou will hold an end-to-end responsibility for ensuring that LanguageWire’s strategic choices are backed by data, proper business cases, and rigorous follow-through across the value chain. Your core impact areas include:
- Strategy Creation & Facilitation: Driving LanguageWire’s annual strategy process. This includes market and competitive benchmarking, facilitating executive strategy workshops, translating top-level strategy into coherent divisional plans, and driving our quarterly OKRs. Together with the Management operationalize the strategy into Sales, Operation, Product & Pricing and Tech.
- Executive & Board Sparring: Serving as a close resource and sparring partner for the CEO. You will prepare materials for Board meetings, facilitate C-team meeting cadences, handle ad-hoc executive analyses, and ensure reliable follow-through on executive decisions.
- M&A Execution: Active member of LanguageWire’s core M&A group. Tasks include target screening, strategic fit and first valuation, meeting targets, and coordinating financial/legal due diligence.
- Financial Alignment & BI Integration: Ensuring strategic initiatives are directly integrated into our business cases, budgets, and BI reporting frameworks, accounting for resource constraints and financial KPIs.
We envision that you bring a strong analytical background combined with the commercial curiosity and maturity required to interact directly with top management:
- Education: You hold a Master’s degree / Cand.merc. (e.g., FIR, MAC, International Business, Strategy, Finance, or similar).
- Experience: You have 3 - 5 years of experience from Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, FP&A, or Commercial Finance within an international corporate or tech environment.
- Stakeholder Management: You are a natural trusted advisor with the credibility, poise, and communication skills to challenge and align executive stakeholders.
- Analytical & Business Case Excellence: Strong financial modelling skills with a proven track record of converting complex strategic hypotheses into solid quantitative business cases, valuations, and actionable OKRs.
- Data Savviness: You navigate large data sets with ease and understand how to leverage Business Intelligence (BI) tools to drive operational clarity. Experience from the tech, SaaS, or Language Service Provider (LSP) industry is a plus.

Skills Required
- Master's degree or Cand.merc. in Finance, Strategy, International Business, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, FP&A, or commercial finance
- Experience interacting with and advising executive stakeholders
- Strong financial modeling and business case development skills
