Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in identifying and synthesizing current strategies, operational processes, and issues; creatively sharing learnings and insights via frameworks, spreadsheets, and presentations; and, prioritizing areas to address based on business impact and importance.
- Shape a clear understanding of desired outcomes, pain points, strategic guidelines, non-functional requirements (e.g., timeliness), analytical needs, and emerging or future requirements.
- Seek to understand, represent, and respond to the customer/user voice in all strategy and solutioning, subject to reasonable economics and market realities.
- Lead the development of innovative ideas and solutions from a business perspective, especially in the areas of digital and AI strategy, data and analytics, and operating models, based on pre-existing knowledge and experience, resourcefulness and research, and thoughtful analysis.
- Guide the project team in the shaping and delivery of a future-state with compelling business value.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, ensuring alignment between strategy and/or solution development and the client’s broader business strategy.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver work-products and final deliverables with tight and compelling storylines supported by relevant and thoughtful analysis.
Hard Skills - Must have:
- Proven expertise in digital strategy and business transformation initiatives.
- Comfort discussing AI, digital strategy, data & analytics, and operating model concepts with executives and team members with a market-relevant understanding of each, preferrably with real-world experience in each.
- Strong primary research skills, including interviewing senior stakeholders and synthesizing data into actionable insights.
- Experience in process analysis and improvement, with the ability to document and optimize workflows.
- Proficiency with analytical methods and spreadsheets.
- Comfort with developing and/or enhancing frameworks to convey a point or crystalize insights.
Soft Skills / Business Specific Skills:
- A critical thinking mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and think on your feet.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple workstreams.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in management consulting or a similar strategic role is highly desirable.
- Continuous lifelong learning orientation and an enthusiasm to drive self-development.
