Key Responsibilities

Vertical Market Research & Strategic Planning

• Conduct comprehensive market assessments across U.S. vertical SaaS segments, including analysis of customer pain points, competitive dynamics, and AI adoption trends.

• Develop data-driven strategic recommendations to inform product positioning, market entry, and long-term growth priorities.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product, Developer Platform, and Go-to-Market teams, to ensure strategic alignment and operational execution.

• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations summarizing market insights and strategic implications.

Ecosystem Development & Partnership Strategy

• Identify, evaluate, and structure strategic partnerships with developers, solution providers, and enterprise prospects to accelerate local ecosystem growth.

• Conduct on-ground studies and engagement initiatives to validate market hypotheses and build trusted relationships with key ecosystem players.

• Define partnership frameworks, support negotiation processes, and oversee implementation in coordination with internal teams.

• Contribute to the development of investment and co-innovation programs that strengthen Plaud’s presence in target verticals.

Market Intelligence & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Establish ongoing market intelligence processes to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and emerging AI-driven applications.

• Translate external insights and customer feedback into actionable inputs for Product, Engineering, and Executive teams.

• Serve as the strategic interface between global headquarters and the U.S. market, ensuring consistency between corporate strategy and regional execution.

• Support leadership in evaluating strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, and partnership proposals through rigorous analytical frameworks.

Qualifications

• Education: MBA from a top business school (Stanford, Wharton, Harvard, etc.)

• Experience: Approximately 1-3 years of experience in corporate development, strategy, venture capital, or top-tier management consulting, with a strong focus on SaaS and technology sectors.

• Core Skills:

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to structure complex problems, derive data-driven insights, and translate them into actionable business strategies.

  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across global functions.

  • Global Mindset: Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across markets, time zones, and cultural contexts within a fast-paced, international organization.

  • AI & Technology Literacy: Deep intellectual curiosity and practical understanding of emerging AI trends, models, and applications across industries.
