As a Strategic Planning Director, you will have the opportunity to lead Strategy agenda for the North Region bottlers in Mexico, enabling the performance results based on market insights, continuous support to operations, and being the guardians of Long Range Plans and Moonshots.
Key responsibilities include working on the zone Annual Business Process, Long Range Planning & Moonshots Processes. The goal here is a high degree of alignment and cascading down of the OU plans/targets to zones/countries, ensuring Strategy deployment. This must be done by acting as a network person linking between functions and systems.
Routine management (bottlers alignments, T2T, Monthly Decision Points) with adequate data/insights to guarantee focus on strategy pillars and short-term alignment to company targets.
Help the operations team ensure we are focusing on the high-value opportunities that drive profitable growth while ensuring the positive share. Help diagnose and track the category/market combos that allow us to gain share across categories and territories
Work with Insights team and platform services team to identify and manage syndicated data sources for the countries and categories to identify market and executional opportunities to accelerate value capture. Usage of a fact-based, strategic approach to identify the insights, strategies, and leading-edge solutions to boost local/granular strategy, with actionable levers.
Act as an enabler that captures and networks best practices, imports and exports good ideas.
Connect & Manage uncertainty and multiple stakeholders.
Keep the strategy leadership team updated on the on-ground initiatives and challenges

Profile: Leader of others with a total team of 3 associates & indirectly influences the operation franchise teams of the north region
Qualification & Requirements
+10 years of Business and/or functional experience in Operation/Strategy related areas, in consulting companies and/or consumer goods industry.
Proven trajectory of collaborating and influencing multifunctional peers.
People manager with excellent leadership capability, able to work in a diverse cultural environment, leading a multi-country team, efficient communicator and influencer.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations and deal with ambiguity.
Negotiation, influence, and communication skills to align strategies as well as build value-based relationships through numerous sensitive situations (typically with bottlers) are essential.
Synthesis and storytelling: Communicate, influence, and convince stakeholders through a structured, fact-based, and action-oriented storytelling.
Solid business acumen skills: to be able to translate data and insights to help inform key business decisions. Ability to bring an outside-in perspective to keep the teams humble.
Problem framing and problem-solving: ability to structure and coordinate/lead cross-functional complex analysis, initiatives, or efforts.
Strategic thinking: integrate diverse business insights and connect the dots to develop a holistic approach.
Decision-making: Ability to make informed decisions, even under pressure. As well as bringing into the equation the implications of the decision on the company’s performance in the market.
Franchise leadership/negotiation: to drive better conversations into practical applications.
Systemic thinking: Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and global capabilities implementation. Being comfortable with ambiguity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work and collaborate across different functions within a network organization.
Innovation - needs to constantly think outside the box to keep the business ahead of its competitors. They should be open to experimenting and taking calculated risks.
