What your typical day will look like:

As the Executive Strategy Director, you will lead the development of breakthrough brand and communication strategies across key client accounts. This role plays a critical part in shaping business solutions through strategic thinking, translating complex challenges into clear, actionable frameworks that inspire impactful creative work. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams including account management, creative, media, and data to deliver integrated strategies that drive business growth. This is an opportunity to influence high-impact campaigns, mentor emerging strategists, and contribute to new business wins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of brand, communications, and integrated marketing strategies for key client accounts
  • Frame business challenges and translate them into clear strategic directions and actionable plans
  • Design strategic frameworks that guide creative development and campaign execution
  • Collaborate with account, creative, media, and data teams to deliver cohesive, insight-driven solutions
  • Drive strategic input for pitches, annual planning, and campaign development
  • Facilitate strategic workshops, stakeholder alignment sessions, and co-creation engagements with clients
  • Present strategic recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
  • Ensure strategies are aligned with client objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Mentor and develop junior strategists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Contribute to thought leadership and support new business development initiatives

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in strategic planning, brand strategy, communications strategy, or integrated marketing within advertising, media, creative, or consulting environments
  • Strong foundation in brand and communications planning, with the ability to define positioning and long-term growth strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in consumer insights, market research, and data interpretation
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling strategic frameworks
  • Experience leading workshops, stakeholder discussions, and collaborative planning sessions
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across creative, media, data, and account management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, social platforms, customer experience, and data-driven marketing
  • Curiosity and openness to emerging trends, including AI and evolving consumer behavior
  • Proven experience mentoring and developing team members
