Job Description

As a Sr. Consultant in the Strategy & Transformation practice, you will participate in client-facing advisory and consulting engagements and will lead selected business operations and strategic development projects. In this role you will develop recommendations and solutions for clients using detailed data, gather research, transform data into reports by writing clear and concise business documents, and develop client presentations. Your enthusiasm, creativity in finding solutions, and self-motivation will help our clients achieve their vision.

In this role you will lead and manage client engagements that may include strategic planning, program and project leadership, operating model development, portfolio evaluation, market & industry trend research, financial analysis, process mapping and digital discovery. This role provides an opportunity to broaden your leadership skills, work across a variety of industries, and exercise your entrepreneurial spirit to deliver superior results for our clients. 


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Play a key role in designing and executing global strategy development projects, comprising of business and data analysis and senior level stakeholder engagement. Participate as part of a project team to provide analytical support for strategy and advice across various client initiatives and programs including strategy planning, operating model development/interaction modeling, portfolio evaluation, market research, industry trending, workflow management, process mapping, or digital discovery. 
  • Gather data, conduct external primary-source interviews, analyze, and make recommendations to meet project objectives, prepare client presentations, and assist in client updates. Design activities and agendas for group/team sessions. 
  • Create reports and presentations utilizing qualitative analysis regarding companies, markets, and industry trends. 
  • Day-to-day client communication which may include direct interaction with client leadership.
  • Program and project leadership to prepare and deliver project status updates, dashboards and reports to clients and Aspirant team members. 
  • Apply expertise by monitoring and identifying project issues, mitigating risk, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of work. 
  • Assist in developing client proposals. 
  • Collaborate with an internal network of consultants to solve client problems and deliver breakthrough strategies and solutions. 
  • Work closely and manage diverse project teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward achievements.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to cultivate long term relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and propose new opportunities that contribute to the overall growth and success of Aspirant. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s degree in variety of disciplines to include Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness/ Design.
  • Master’s/MBA degree preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE  

  • 3 or more years’ relevant business experience contributing to strategic and transformative business projects.
  • Experience from a variety of business projects such as business integration, organizational change, digital marketing, new product launches, mergers & acquisitions, or system integrations.
  • Project management experience leading projects and managing work teams. 
  • Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain, finance, operations, HR, marketing, and sales.
  • Knowledge of frameworks and models used in strategic plan development. 
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Ability to create solutions in complex and ambiguous situations and synthesize a path forward.
  • Ability to distill information, develop insights, and work alongside clients. 
  • Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required. 
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop clear and compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint. 
  • Strong written and oral communications skills, including proficiency in delivering impactful presentations and facilitating meetings. 
  • Confidence to engage with clients at a senior leadership level as well as a line management level. 
  • Ability to travel based on client requirements.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 

  • Flexibility and confidence to contribute to any of Aspirant’s other Aspirant practice areas including Organizational Effectiveness, Digital & Technology, Marketing & Innovation, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Sales. 
  • Process improvement/Six Sigma/Lean Sigma experience.
