We are looking for a Strategy and Operations Intern (paid) to join our remote team but are open to meeting face-to-face in Monterrey once or twice per week for planning.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan, including defining objectives, setting targets, and tracking progress.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
  • Prepare strategic recommendations and presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly update senior management on operational performance.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and milestones, and develop detailed plans.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to allocate resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
  • Provide direct support to the CEO, including managing the calendar, scheduling meetings, and preparing briefing materials.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination of priorities.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork across departments to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive alignment, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Act as a champion for continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in strategy, operations, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry or a related field is a plus, but not required.
