About the role:

We are seeking a Strategy and Operations Associate to join our team. You will be working closely with Senior Executives and playing an important role in the day-to-day work with our internal stakeholders (e.g., tracking progress against milestones, building models, supporting and driving patients and doctors-related operations). In addition, you will own high priority tasks and initiatives for the company across functions. 

The Strategy and Operations Associate will work across different areas of the business with a focus on Operations and Finance – examples include Clinical Operations (working with our VP of Operations), Medical Services (working with our Chief Medical Officer), and Finance, Corporate Development (working with our CFO and Chief Product Officer) and Workforce Management.

The role is based in the New York City area with an in office experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and refine strategic models for optimizing doctor demand and supply to optimize visit volume, ensuring efficient use of staff resources.
  • Develop and implement systems for appointment scheduling to maximize efficiency and ensure smooth clinic operations with adequate coverage.
  • Manage and streamline doctors' schedules and shifts, including forecasting staffing needs and managing time-off requests, to maintain optimal service levels.
  • Oversee and enhance relationships with doctors across clinics, ensuring seamless scheduling and operational coordination.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency within clinical operations, directly impacting the operational flow and future growth of the company.
  • Analyze data to identify and address gaps in doctor availability, aligning staffing resources with patient needs to ensure smooth facility operations.

What we're looking for:

  • 4+ years of work experience in a top strategy consulting firm or startup operations – bonus for a blend of both backgrounds
  • Bonus for experience in Healthcare / Digital Health
  • Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic about expanding healthcare accessibility
  • Ownership mindset, not afraid to get your hands dirty, dive into the data and build solutions from the ground-up
  • Strong analytical skills, with mastery of Excel and proven experience with modeling / analysis
  • Structured problem-solving abilities and execution skills capable of transforming vision into tangible business outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with external partners
  • Results-oriented – laser focused on the definition of success and driving successful outcomes

Compensation:

$120,000$140,000 USD

We offer competitive compensation packages based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location. Offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as a candidate's experience and expertise.
