As Strategy Data Analyst , you will serve as a strategic bridge between the business units and the analytics organization, driving data-informed decision-making across the EMEACLA region. Your consultative mindset and deep understanding of market dynamics will enable you to deliver actionable insights, harmonize governance practices, and elevate Edwards’ Structural Heart Disease (SHD) strategy through robust research and reporting. You will support the organization with high-quality analysis into market conditions and with processing and collecting new data to answer specific questions generated by marketing team.
How you'll make an impact:
Analytics & Modeling
Compile & integrate population & prevalence datasets into market models to quantify market potential, and growth dynamics.
Deliver data-driven inputs for strategic planning processes, including assumptions, trend analysis, risk/ opportunity assessment, and forecasts.
Build business case & financial models as well as conduct forecasting and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions and resource allocation.
Oversee pricing strategy analysis to assist marketing with decision-making & marketing strategy development.
Reporting & Visualization
Develop clear, insight-led dashboards to inform leadership decisions and track performance indicators.
Prepare & automate recurring reports.
Provide guidance and support for ad‑hoc reporting and data interpretation across commercial and marketing teams.
Partner with Business Operations, Commercial, and Marketing stakeholders to standardize planning templates, assumptions, and reporting standards to ensure data consistency and harmonization.
Serve as a go-to resource for best practices in insights generation, visualization, and data governance.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
Own end-to-end competition data management in the CRM system, including input collection from the commercial team and validation against internal and external sources.
Conduct deep dives on strategic topics to generate actionable market insights.
Manage knowledge base & act as a single source of truth for market intelligence-related content.
Assist in the generation of market insights and conduct deep dives into priority strategic topics.
What you will need:
2 years of experience required
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, finance, business statistics or related field
Strong prior experience in analytics or business intelligence within a multinational or regional context preferred.
Proficiency in English
Experience from regulated industry is a plus
What else we look for:
Advanced Excel (modeling, pivot/power query, VBA) and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI (or Tableau) and basic SQL preferred; exposure to SFDC is a plus
Good communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong understanding of data modeling, forecasting, and modelling principles; ability to build market and financial models
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, critical‑thinking, and organizational skills; able to prioritize competing objectives in a fast‑paced environment
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration
High integrity with the ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Willingness to travel 15–20% as needed
