Strategy Analyst

Job Description:

Dave & Buster's Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Strategy Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Strategy Analyst will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting data, providing valuable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization. You will need to possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

• Conduct thorough and accurate data analysis using various tools and methodologies.
• Interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure data accuracy.

Reporting and Visualization:

• Generate clear and concise reports to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
• Create visually compelling dashboards and presentations to support decision-making.
• Utilize data visualization tools to enhance the understanding of analytical results.

Strategic Insight:

• Provide strategic insights based on data analysis to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Offer recommendations to optimize processes and drive efficiency.

Forecasting and Modeling:

• Develop and maintain forecasting models to predict future trends and outcomes.
• Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential impacts on business operations.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track organizational performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with departments across the organization to understand business needs.
• Collaborate with IT and other relevant teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, or a relevant quantitative discipline).
• Work experience not required, but ideally some experience as an Analyst, with a focus on data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) ideal.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with forecasting and modeling is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
