We are seeking a Strategy Analyst/Associate to support the annual Strategic Planning process. This role will also contribute to critical strategic initiatives across our business units across all functions and geographies. In addition, the role will support inorganic initiatives and diligence, including M&A, equity investments, and other partnerships.Responsibilities
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification to evaluate new growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Primary Research: Execute primary market research to inform strategy, assess market opportunities, and support new product planning.
- Secondary Research: Collect insights from a variety of sources for competitive and market intelligence.
- Data & Insights: Collect, analyze, and synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights and support strategic recommendations.
- Communication: Prepare compelling presentations and reports for senior management and cross-functional teams, clearly articulating key findings, opportunities, and strategic options.
- Business Case Development: Build financial models and business cases to assess the feasibility and potential impact of strategic projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and new product launches.
- Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of strategic projects across various functions, such as R&D, commercial, and operations. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather input, ensure alignment, and drive the execution of strategic plans.
- Inorganic: Support diligence projects, including primary and secondary research, and synthesize/present findings and their potential impacts on the deal for key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM; advanced degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, preferably within the pharmaceutical, medical device, life science tools, or similar industry. Experience in bioprocessing ideal but not required.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to structure complex business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
- Track record of executing primary market research and synthesizing findings independently. Strong experience with secondary market research including competitive intelligence and market intelligence.
- Highly advanced capabilities in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are required. Proficiency and demonstrated practical implementation of AI highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $128,000 - $185,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
