We're looking for a Strategist to join one of Australia's most awarded and effective strategy teams, working on iconic brands including Coca-Cola, ING, and more.

Strategy & Planning is the springboard for Ogilvy Australia's best creative work. What You'll Do

  • Shape brand, communications and creative strategies that solve real client business challenges
  • Uncover human, cultural and category insights through qualitative and quantitative research
  • Help identify opportunities for brands through a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, trends and culture
  • Craft inspiring strategic briefs that set creative teams up for brilliant work
  • Partner with creatives, account teams and specialists from brief to execution
  • Contribute to strategic recommendations, workshops and client presentations
  • Build your confidence in presenting and defending strategic thinking directly with clients
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and turn results into sharp, actionable learnings
  • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, meaningful outcomes

What You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years' experience in strategy or planning at a creative agency
  • A track record contributing to brand, comms or creative strategy development
  • Strong research and insight skills, and the ability to turn findings into clear recommendations
  • Genuine curiosity about people, culture, brands and business
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and holding your own in client conversations
  • A passion for creativity and the strategic thinking that powers great communications
  • A collaborative, always-learning mindset
