Job Position:      Strategic Sourcing Specialist

 

Job Description: Define material requirements, analyzing program data to prepare material spend plans, and work collectively with other functional teams involved in production. Review, analyze, and resolve expectations and error reports from master data management and ERP planning modules for Washing Machine production factory. Support product supply and inventory plans consistent with the objectives of management. Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure on-time compliance to customer release requirements while minimizing carrying and premium freight costs. Review department/plant measurable (customer delivery, supplier delivery, premium freight and inventory) and establish corrective measures for performance adherence. Facilitates the resolution of supplier inbound Quality Issues. Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control). Achievement of daily, monthly and annual team targets (KPI). Adheres to yearly budget and carries out the plan to meet that budget. Aligns Innovation team to forecast and reduce costs. Develop knowledge of Material Requirements Planning by assisting Supply Analysts plan the phase in and/or phase out of products. Identify unique components for products being phased out or inactivated. Monitor product phase-in/out plans to minimize excess or obsolete inventory and issue progress reports during the phase out period.


Job Requirements:  Must possess 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related role in the Material purchasing role. Must also possess experience with Washing Machine production, Material Inventory Management, ERP, Supply Chain Management and KPI analysis.


Salary: $102,752/year


Work Hours:     9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.    5 day 40 hr/wk.
