Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelors Degree Business Management or related field. (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum three (3) years Strategic sourcing experience, preferably in a healthcare setting (required)
- Minimum three (3) years Proven results in previous positions related to project management for Supply Chain Management or healthcare. (required)
- Minimum three (3) years GPO contracts, purchasing and vendor product knowledge preferably in the healthcare field. (preferred)
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to gain and maintain positive relationships with staff, clinicians, physicians, suppliers, GPO partners and senior leadership.
Must have organizational and communication skills to manage independent projects.
Analytical skills necessary to develop and execute a variety of financial and operational analyzes.
Problem solving skills to manage day to day challenges and develop and execute long term improvement. - Computer Skills Competent in use of Excel, MSWord and ERP and other database programs needed to perform job duties.
