This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (Industrial) in Apodaca with Signify.
Strategic sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing, commodity, supply base, and supplier strategies to achieve cost reduction and performance goals.
Supplier management: Scout, select, develop, and manage suppliers while ensuring quality, delivery, sustainability, and performance standards.
Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business/technical needs and translate them into effective supplier strategies.
Negotiation & risk management: Lead tenders, negotiate contracts, and identify and mitigate supplier-related risks.
Procurement excellence: Drive initiatives such as Value Engineering, DfX, early supplier involvement, and supplier development, while mentoring junior team members.
More about you
Bachelor’s degree completed in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a strong focus on Industrial category, including supplier negotiation and contract management.
Proven experience managing Industrial categories is required. Other category experience is highly preferred.
CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or an equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Fluent English is mandatory.
