This role is responsible for supporting the execution of the company’s overall strategic sourcing strategy across all the IT portfolio. This role will support the development and execution of RFPs/RFQs, contract negotiations, and related sourcing activities for procurement requests across the company.
Job Description
The Analyst, IT Strategic Sourcing will have cross-functional responsibilities including the following:
- Support the Sourcing team’s partnership with the business stakeholders to deliver on the organizational sourcing strategy to meet DTCC’s financial and operational control objectives.
- Support the management of relationships with suppliers to foster strategic partnerships that enable continuous value-delivery.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of the strategic sourcing (including RFx), contracting, and downstream procurement workflow.
- Support the pro-actively manage renewals to drive savings and mitigate business disruptions.
- Participate in value driven QBRs for key IT vendors.
- Evaluate spend and contract data to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
- Lead sourcing projects by identifying clear objectives that consider financial, risk, and operational benefits for DTCC.
- Continuously develop subject matter expertise via benchmarking/research, industry/peer collaboration, training, and client feedback.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts while ensuring alignment with DTCC goals.
- Review requests via centralized intake tool and gather requirements from business clients.
- Review supplier proposals and facilitate process for final vendor selection with appropriate stakeholders

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sourcing and procurement at a global organization, preferably in financial services.
Experience developing RFXs and negotiating HW, software, telecom/networking, private cloud, public cloud, and IT professional services contracts.
Knowledge of enterprise IT vendors as well as emerging technology providers.
Strong organizational competency with the ability to independently manage competing priorities.
Comfortable with organization change and transformation.
Client service focused.
