The Strategic Sourcing, Analyst will support Interac’s end-to-end procurement process. You will support business stakeholders in optimizing the selection and management of new vendors through our strategic sourcing processes. You will ensure the best value proposition and quality of Interac vendors are selected by supporting the coordination and execution of non-competitive (e.g., single/sole source) and competitive (RFx) vendor onboarding processes, analyzing supplier capabilities and collaborating with stakeholders on the selection of vendors. This is an 11-month contract position.

You’ll be responsible for:  

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements for products/services and supporting the end-to-end non-competitive vendor onboarding process.
• Assisting the Strategic Sourcing Business Partners, Leader and Business Units with the finalization and distribution of the RFx package, managing vendor communication, and response evaluation.
• Assisting the Strategic Sourcing Business Partners and Leader in conducting market research to identify potential vendors, evaluate vendor qualifications and capabilities and financial stability.
• Supporting the Strategic Sourcing Business Partners and Leader to utilize data analytics to drive insights and provide recommendations on strategic sourcing initiatives, prepare reports and status updates to stakeholders on key sourcing metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Risk, Privacy, & Security) to ensure vendor assessments are completed and satisfy Interac standards.
• Building and maintaining close business partner relationships with key stakeholders across multiple levels and providing procurement knowledge and best practices to support business priorities.

You bring:  

• Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity. 
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions, conduct cost-benefit analysis to evaluate vendor proposals and optimize costs.
• Strong s​kills in conducting market research to identify potential vendors, industry trends and best practices with the ability to assess and evaluate vendor qualifications, capabilities and financial stability.
• Proficiency in drafting comprehensive RFx documents, specifications, and communications.​
• Precision in reviewing and analyzing vendor proposals, contracts and other documentation, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of sourcing/procurement related documentation.​
• Ability to think critically and analyze complex situations, identify issues and propose solutions.
