Position Overview
This role sits at the heart of sourcing decision-making.
As a Sourcing Analyst, you will support the sourcing team to make executive decisions that directly impact cost, risk, and business performance.
This is a role for someone who enjoys complexity, data, and influence in a fast-paced environment.
The position acts as a key bridge between data, sourcing execution, and executive decision-making.
What You Will Do
Lead High-Impact Sourcing Analytics:
- Own end-to-end RFQ / RFP processes using best-in-class e-sourcing tools
- Design complex sourcing events (multi-lot, scenarios, optionality)
- Build fact-based supplier comparisons (TCO, risk, value)
- Quantify financial impact and sensitivities
Turn Data into Decisions:
- Gather, structure, and validate data from multiple sources (ERP, sourcing tools, suppliers, market data)
- Build advanced Excel-based models to support strategic choices
- Support sourcing leaders in negotiation preparation
- Present insights into procurement leadership, finance, and business leaders
Engage with Suppliers and Stakeholders:
- Day to day communication with suppliers and contract execution (pricing & terms, contracts, claims, delivery)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, production, supply-chain, quality, technical) to ensure procurement aligns with business needs and specifications
- Ensure on-time-in-full supply of direct commodities within cost targets
- Develop Market Intelligence, provide insights into supplier capabilities, competition, and trends
What You Bring
- First experience in sourcing analytics or procurement
- Commodity expertise is not required
- Basic knowledge of e-sourcing platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer or similar) a plus
- Good understanding of Excel and data management skills
- Fluent English is mandatory
