What we need
We are seeking a Strategic Sales Leader who will be instrumental in managing the relationship with GreenBox’s (GB) most valued customers. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to interfacing with executive teams both inside and outside the company. Your ability to develop meaningful relationships and manage large, complex accounts will allow our team to scale along with the company. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the supply chain ecosystem and help our customers drive network-level transformation decisions.
GreenBox* is pioneering warehousing-as-a-service, offering outsourced warehousing operations and specializing in automated warehousing solutions. Our focus is on the efficient movement of goods in cases and pallets across all sectors, such as wholesale, retail, and general merchandising.
*GreenBox is an independently managed joint venture between Symbotic and Softbank.
What we do
The Sales Team is part of the Commercial organization, which is responsible for developing, negotiating, and executing contracts with large customers.
What you'll do

Deeply understand customer’s supply chain level network challenges, automation motivations, and operational processes, and propose as-a-service solution that deliver improved productivity and value.

Ability to partner with the customer in a highly consultative selling environment and partner with cross-functional teams to develop new solution configurations and designs that would integrate into existing or new GB’s warehousing solution offering.

Lead sales development efforts to identify, evaluate, and execute multi-year contractual relationships with customers and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders

Develop strategies and negotiate intricate, multi-year logistics and warehousing agreements for defined locations and verticals
What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations research, science, or business required; MBA or master’s in engineering preferred.

Minimum 15 years’ experience in the materials handling industry.

Proven track record of helping close large ($50M+) projects with existing customers.

Experience with financial analysis, business case justification, and cost/benefit tradeoffs.

Prior experience writing sales proposals.

Strong presentation skills with the confidence to present to large, executive-level audiences; an ability to present complex concepts to customers with varying backgrounds.

Excellent team player mentality, able to work professionally with members of various engineering teams.

Excellent critical-thinking skills.

Strong sales and customer service skills and commercial instinct.

Demonstrated ability to work in rapidly changing startup environment.
Our environment

Up to 75% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
