Embedded within Business Development, the ‘Special Projects’ team is looking for an Analyst to be a key player in identifying, analyzing, and driving strategic growth opportunities.
Reporting into the Director of Strategy and Special Projects, you will utilize a blend of analytics, strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills to partner with our Growth VPs to expand their markets.
Key Responsibilities- Analytics & Market Research: Perform robust analytics to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives, including analyzing market trends and forecasting new growth opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the effectiveness of targeting efforts (including leveraging Salesforce to drive efficiencies and enhance tracking).
- Executive Communication: Prepare clear and concise materials for internal and external meetings, including pitch decks, talking points, executive strategy sessions, and interdepartmental communications.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ongoing business development activities.
- Ad Hoc Special Projects: Independently and cross-functionally identify new growth opportunities and creatively address challenges as they arise.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales analytics, financial analysis, strategy, or a related role. (Experience with a healthcare provider is preferred).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with a high attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely, including experience creating presentation materials.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with Salesforce and business intelligence tools is a strong plus.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Must be comfortable driving forward significant amounts of independent work, while also effectively partnering and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from fellow analysts to Vice Presidents.
