The Strategic Project Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for delivering and supporting strategic transformation initiatives across the organization, from concept development through execution and benefits realization. The role requires structured project ownership within a defined scope, strong cross-functional coordination, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical, high-quality project delivery.
The incumbent will work closely with Head Office teams, regional stakeholders, IT, QSC, and GCC, supporting alignment, transparency, and measurable business outcomes through disciplined execution and clear, structured communication. The role contributes to the delivery of the “Undisputed No. 1 for Quality” strategy.
Responsibilities- Translate HL 2030 strategic objectives into clear project concepts, frameworks, and execution plans
- Analyze voice of customer insights, market trends, and competitive information to support project and strategy objectives
- Lead/support end-to-end project delivery within assigned scope, from planning and implementation through rollout and post-launch support
- Collaborate with IT, Digital, Process Excellence, and other functional teams to implement scalable and sustainable solutions
- Contribute to structured governance forums, status meetings, and decision-preparation processes
- Manage day-to-day stakeholder communication, addressing issues and supporting alignment
- Prepare and support C-level-ready updates and dashboards using Salesforce Analytics, Qlik Sense, and other reporting tools
- Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes through clear, structured, and audience-appropriate messaging
- 6+ years of experience in project management, preferably within complex, matrix organizations
- Experience delivering projects or workstreams within larger transformation initiatives
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or global service environments is an advantage
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation preparation
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable project plans and updates
