About the role

We're looking for a Strategic Planning Senior Manager to help define, operationalize, and drive the company’s strategic priorities, ensuring clear direction, strong execution, and measurable progress across the business.

Reporting to the Senior Director of COO Initiatives, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, planning, and executive engagement, translating long-term ambition into actionable roadmaps, objectives, and operating rhythms, while partnering closely with senior leaders to keep priorities aligned and progress on track.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Strategic Planning & Roadmap Governance

  • Translate company strategy into clear priorities, multi-year roadmaps, and measurable objectives
  • Support annual and long-range planning in partnership with Finance, Data & Insights, and functional leaders
  • Maintain visibility into initiative sequencing, dependencies, and trade-offs to enable aligned execution

OKRs, Operating Rhythm & Performance Alignment

  • Co-lead the company-wide OKR process, including design, governance, and ongoing management
  • Track progress against company and team objectives to drive accountability and alignment
  • Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive planning forums
  • Maintain core planning artifacts, including priority tracking, operating calendars, and executive reporting

Executive Engagement & Strategic Narrative

  • Distill complex strategy and operational insights into clear executive materials and decision frameworks
  • Support communications for the President, COO, and senior leadership across internal and external forums
  • Partner across teams to align stakeholders on priorities, progress, and key decisions

Cross-Functional Strategic Initiatives

  • Organize and lead high-impact initiatives across multiple teams
  • Align goals, plans, milestones, and outcomes while identifying risks and opportunities

We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic operations within complex, high-growth organizations; experience in media, entertainment, technology, or DTC subscription businesses preferred
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide strategic planning processes, including annual plans and long-term roadmaps
  • Ability to translate strategy into prioritized initiatives and measurable outcomes
  • Expertise in performance management systems (e.g., OKRs) that connect strategy to execution
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing decisions through structured analysis and clear recommendations
  • Strong communication skills, including developing executive-level materials and leading forums such as QBRs and strategic offsites
  • Ability to drive alignment across global, matrixed organizations and manage competing priorities
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including investment prioritization and performance tracking
  • Understanding of subscription economics, streaming, and global media dynamics
  • Sound judgment and ability to operate effectively in high-visibility environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
  • Passion for anime, storytelling, and serving global fan communities a plus

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
