As a Strategic Planning Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting market research and analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to influence and inspire others will be essential in contributing to the growth and success of Honeywell.
You will report directly to our Sr Director Strategic Planning and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact shaping and executing an organization's strategic planning processes. Their impact is substantial and extends across various critical areas, contributing to the organization's growth, profitability, and long-term success.
ResponsibilitiesKey Areas of Responsibilities:
- Lead the Missiles and Munitions forecasting and serve as a SME for missiles and munitions. Monitor industry trends and develop analyses to assess the impact and opportunities associated with these for HONA.
- Be a key contributor to the Defense and Space STRAP development including helping to develop whitepapers or presentations, drive supporting market analysis, and support additional deliverables. Work collaboratively across D&S and SBUs/GBEs.
- Lead analysis and forecasting for the Defense Americas aftermarket business. Review and determine implications of DoW budgets on the HONA defense aftermarket business.
- Support multiple additional workstreams and adhoc projects supporting Defense CBTs including market and competitive assessments, partnership and M&A support, and analysis and presentation development for senior executive requests.

YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ years’ experience required. Aerospace background is a must. Defense & Marketing Strategy experience preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills. Excellent business writing, editing, and presentation skills. Proven ability to work in a global, matrix organization while working with minimal supervision. Communicate with all levels of the organization with minimal coaching.
- Passion for and prior experience in aerospace industry. Excellent interpersonal, organization & communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in analytical discipline (Marketing, Business Mgmt., Math, Aerospace Engineering, etc.) preferred. Master's Degree preferred
- Experience in strategic planning in a global organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
