What You'll Be Doing: As a Strategic Partnerships Associate on Vagaro’s Partnerships team, you will play a key role in identifying, supporting, and scaling strategic partnerships that align with Vagaro’s business goals. You’ll be the team’s go-to for spotting opportunities, building relationships, and supporting deal execution. Reporting to the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will research markets, connect with potential partners, and help turn great ideas into real, revenue-driving collaborations.

You’ll also act as a bridge between partners and internal teams—ensuring every partnership is set up for long-term success. This highly collaborative role will work cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and operations.

Compensation Details:

  • Base Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
  • Annual Bonus: Up to 10%

Your Impact:

  • Support our Strategic Partnerships Manager in nurturing relationships, assisting with pilot deals, and documenting outcomes.
  • Research and identify potential partnership opportunities across relevant industry segments (e.g., Salon Suites and Beauty Products).
  • Assist in outreach efforts to prospective partners, including crafting pitches and supporting presentations.
  • Coordinate partnership deal flow, including scheduling meetings, preparing proposals, and maintaining partner records in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop go-to-market and adoption strategies for new partnerships.
  • Provide market insights by staying current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and partnership best practices.
  • Deliver operational and project management support for the Partnerships team.

Project Management – 50%

    • Coordinating internal teams (marketing, product, operations)
    • Managing timelines, deliverables, and reporting (often with RACI charts or production timelines)
    • Ensuring partnership integrations and campaigns are executed smoothly

    Client Collaboration – 30%

    • Building and nurturing partner relationships
    • Leading calls, demos, and kickoff meetings
    • Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for accounts
    • Collecting feedback and ensuring client success and satisfaction

    Strategic Initiatives – 20%

    • Identifying new markets, verticals, and partnership opportunities
    • Developing go-to-market strategies and co-branded initiatives
    • Aligning with leadership on long-term growth goals
    • Evaluating competitive landscape and refining positioning

    What You Bring: 

    • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or account management (SaaS or tech ecosystem experience preferred).
    • Project management experience is required.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across functions and with external stakeholders.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, and CRM tools (experience a plus).
    • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize market insights.
    • Passion for the beauty, wellness, and fitness industries is a plus.
    • Self-starter with excellent time management and a collaborative mindset.
