As a Strategic Sourcing Capital Buyer at Mars, you will be accountable for supporting the execution of capital investment projects in your geographical scope of responsibility, in line with the capital strategies and processes, maintaining a high level of partnering with stakeholders to deliver value to Mars and timely completion of business goals.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Collaborating with engineering teams to understand sourcing needs for upcoming capital projects in France and Spain.
Executing contracting and procurement of goods and services in line with global and regional sourcing strategies.
Negotiating supplier agreements and ensuring timely contract approvals.
Managing supplier relationships and delivering improvements across cost, cash flow, service, and quality.
Reporting savings opportunities and sourcing impact using tools such as Sievo.
Working with other Capital Buyers to identify synergies and simplify sourcing processes.
What are we looking for?
University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
3 + years of sourcing and/or engineering experience.
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of delivering commercial value.
Procurement experience is required, preferably in Capital or other factory related procurement areas.
Knowledge of contract management.
Willingness to travel to supplier sites.
Fluent English is a must (French and Spanish are a plus).
