About the Role
Uber Freight is looking to hire a Strategic Account Executive to lead our efforts in securing and expanding partnerships with Mid-Market shippers. This is a senior-level position for an experienced sales professional with deep expertise in complex, solution-based selling within the transportation and logistics software industry. As a key contributor to the commercial sales team, you will have direct access to our full suite of freight logistics and technology solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing a high-value sales pipeline, while also acting as a subject matter expert and mentor to help elevate the performance and strategy of the broader team.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Become a trusted authority on Uber Freight logistics services and technology offerings.
- Drive top-line revenue through strategic logo acquisition within the Mid-Market segment ($400M–$800M Gross Sales).
- Develop new business opportunities by solving complex customer challenges through a collaborative, consultative solution-selling approach.
- Partner and co-sell with Managed Transportation (TM) reps to deliver comprehensive, high-impact freight management solutions.
- Develop and build high-level relationships with key decision-makers (Directors, VPs, and C-Level executives).
- Analyze sales activities and forecast data to provide leadership with actionable insights and progress reports.
- Manage the full sales cycle through our prescribed methodologies and tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Groove, etc.).
- Serve as a mentor to colleagues, sharing best practices to improve overall team efficacy and deal strategy.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional sales experience.
- 4+ years of experience selling supply chain technology, logistics, or transportation services.
- Deep expertise in supply chain and logistics industry solutions.
- Extensive experience in prospecting and engaging with high-level potential customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to travel ~30% to meet with prospects and internal collaborators.
- Demonstrated track record of success in complex, long-cycle solution selling.
- Experience identifying, generating, and closing new business at scale.

For Illinois based roles: The salary range for this role is $116,300.00 to $167,400 a year
