The opportunity
The Strategic Learning Manager (SLM) India is a senior role within Harvard Business Impact (HBI) Enterprise team and, is responsible for leading a portfolio of high-impact client engagements. This role combines strategic client advisory and , proposal and solution architecture creation, program design and program leadership to help organizations address their most critical leadership and talent development priorities.
The SLM engages with senior client stakeholders to understand business challenges, people strategies, and leadership needs, and then translates those into innovative, scalable learning solutions. Acting as both a trusted advisor and solution architect, the SLM ensures that client partnerships deliver measurable business outcomes while driving revenue growth and profitability for HBI.
Success in this role requires exceptional client facing consultative skills, strong commercial acumen, and deep expertise in leadership development, adult learning and learning design. The SLM is expected to influence client strategy, co-create impactful solutions, and oversee flawless execution of complex programs.
Key Responsibilities:Pre-sales support
Lead solution development and pricing as part of a pursuit team
Develop solutions using HBP’s standard solution set
Identify areas of a solution where design work may be required and partner with Design
Services to scope these elements
Shepard non-standard solutions through the HBP solution review process
Program Management
Manage high quality needs assessment, curriculum development and delivery of client programs
Manage each program on budget and to the timeline
Manage internal business operations
Balance own time and time of other HBP resources to meet competing client demands
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the client’s day-to-day project manager and senior sponsors
Develop and implement a program metrics and evaluation plan
Manage scope creep and other program risks
Identify additional business development opportunities
Curriculum Design and Development
Create high impact, client-focused program design and curriculum
On board thought leaders and moderators to deliver on design
Keep program design and curriculum fresh and relevant
7+ years of experience in client project management in a management consulting, education or professional services firm. Bachelor required. M.B.A. preferred
Proven success managing complex projects with demanding clients on-time and on-budget
Proficiency required with MS office products such as MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project
Experience with collaborative technologies such as WebEx and MS Teams
Effective communicator: strong facilitator, presenter, collaborator
Strong business acumen skills. Relationship-oriented. Customer-focused. Willing to go the extra mile to delight clients
Highly motivated with excellent follow-through, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
A team player. Able to work across cultures with clients around the globe
Thrives in an entrepreneurial setting
A genuine interest in adult education and management development fields
Solution development skills: able to translate client needs into solutions using HBPs solution toolkit
