At Roche Diagnostics NZ (RDNZ), we don’t just adapt to the future of healthcare—we shape it. We have an exciting opportunity for a visionary Strategic Key Account Manager (SKAM) to join our Auckland team and champion impactful, win/win partnerships that elevate patient care across New Zealand.

In this position, you will drive commercial excellence by blending your  sales instincts with a data-driven approach to deliver superior market results. Your ability to leverage advanced analytics, conduct deep market assessments, and build successful customer relationships will be the catalyst for our continued success in the field.

Key Responsibilities include;

As a SKAM, you will be an integral part of the team, driving our commercial success and customer satisfaction. Embracing our VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) leadership model, you will:

  • Own the relationship with your key accounts, leading contract management, conducting high-level business reviews, and effortlessly resolving commercial hurdles.

  • Map out customer organizations, uncover hidden opportunities, and inject invaluable customer insights directly into RDNZ’s broader strategic vision.

  • Break down silos by partnering seamlessly across Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver unmatched value to our clients.

  • Ensure all documentation and operations meet Roche’s gold standard for quality, compliance, health, and safety.

Who you are;

You are a master relationship-builder who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You bring a growth mindset, agility, and a passion for continuous improvement, and you have;

  • 5+ years of proven success in sales or account management.

  • A tertiary qualification in Science or Business (or the perfect blend of both) is highly desired.

  • Deep knowledge of NZ laboratory networks and Roche diagnostic solutions (desirable)

  • Proficiency in CRM/Data tools like Salesforce (Rexis), and the Google and Microsoft suite of products.

  • Outstanding communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to mobilize teams and influence outcomes without formal authority.

  • Ability to travel nationally, some international travel may be required.  

A valid driver’s license is essential.

This role is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in New Zealand.
