Role Overview:
As Strategic Insights and Planning Manager you will manage a team of high performing specialists and provide accurate and pragmatic management information to support high-level decision making, change and Bupa’s distribution strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for the sound and prudent management of the MI & Insights team
- Responsible for overseeing the implementation and delivery of plans and accurate reporting on performance at frequent and regular intervals.
- Produce high quality insight reports on third party distribution activities for a senior management audience
- Manage all internal and incoming incidental work related to Bupa’s strategic goals, working with team peers as well as stakeholders across Bupa’s business units by way of effective project management
- Collaborate effectively with senior managers, peers and subject-matter-experts internally and externally to identify areas of continuous improvement
- Produce appropriate management information in-line with agreed SLAs, including KPIs and monthly performance reports
What you’ll bring:
- Good knowledge of the insurance market both UK and International
- Hold functional knowledge of risk, control and regulation across 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence
- Strong skills in Power BI and Query
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management
- Have a solid track record in change management
- Risk Management knowledge and adherence to regulatory frameworks and control
- Design and delivery of risk reporting across the organisation
- Strategic thinking with ability to manage complex and high level data and information
- Excellent attention to detail with good verbal and writing ability
