The Strategic Finance team at Genesys is a key partner to the business and provides analysis and thought leadership to support executive decision-making and company performance across key strategic goals.  The team is looking for a Strategic Finance senior analyst who will lead revenue forecasting and analyses for several premise platforms at Genesys.  This team member will play a key role in supporting the company’s business and value creation strategy.

Location: US Remote (fully remote within US, not limited to the states that the job posting is tagged to)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead revenue forecasting for key software business lines by building and maintaining detailed financial models that incorporate business drivers, contractual considerations, and revenue recognition policies to support short-term (monthly / quarterly) and long-range planning

• Partner with business, finance, accounting, operations, and other stakeholders to understand customer activity and identify, analyze, and model revenue drivers to support forward-looking assumptions

• Evaluate business strategy and programs and translate these into revenue impacts; conduct ad-hoc analyses to support executive decision-making

• Compile comparisons of forecasts vs. actual results to bridge variances and evaluate drivers of business performance

• Produce executive-level outputs that explain revenue trends in the business

• Identify and drive revenue forecasting process improvements

Qualifications / Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, investing, investment banking, transaction services, or similar role

• Advanced Excel & financial modeling skills

• Understanding of key metrics used in the enterprise software industry, primary revenue drivers, and software revenue recognition principles / policies; understanding of financial statements and accounting

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; superior attention to detail

• Excellent business communication skills, written & verbal; outstanding ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally and at multiple levels of the organization

• Proactive self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately to meet tight deadlines

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in economics, business, accounting, math/statistics, or related field from a top university

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$75,600.00 - $140,400.00
