Job Description:

Job: Strategic Finance Partner
Location: Remote
Department: Finance
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday – Friday

Job Summary:

Are you a strategic finance leader who enjoys solving complex business challenges and partnering with executive leadership to drive organizational success? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where no two days are the same? If so, Centerstone is looking for an experienced Strategic Finance Partner to join our Finance team.

As a Strategic Finance Partner, you will serve as a highly trusted advisor to the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, and executive finance leadership. This role is designed for a seasoned finance professional who brings broad expertise across accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, procurement, and enterprise operations. Rather than owning a single functional area, you'll provide senior-level financial leadership wherever it is needed most—leading strategic initiatives, supporting organizational growth, and delivering financial insight that drives executive decision-making across our multi-state healthcare organization.

From mergers and acquisitions to financial modeling, enterprise system implementations, process transformation, and executive-level analyses, you'll play a key role in shaping the financial future of Centerstone.

Position Perks & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary

  • 29 Days of PTO

  • Employee benefits package – health, dental, vision, retirement, life, & more

  • Competitive 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan – up to 5% match for Part-Time and Full-Time employees

  • Company-paid basic life insurance

  • Emergency Medical Leave Program

  • Flexible Spending Accounts – healthcare and dependent child-care

  • Health & Wellness Program

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Employee Discount Program

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner supporting Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Procurement, and operational leadership across the organization.

  • Lead enterprise-wide financial initiatives involving multiple departments, legal entities, and executive stakeholders.

  • Provide financial leadership during mergers, acquisitions, organizational integrations, leadership transitions, and other strategic business initiatives.

  • Partner with executive leadership to analyze complex financial and operational challenges while identifying opportunities for organizational improvement.

  • Lead financial due diligence, integration planning, purchase accounting coordination, and post-acquisition implementation activities.

  • Develop sophisticated financial models, scenario analyses, forecasts, and business cases to support executive decision-making.

  • Coordinate valuation projects, legal entity restructurings, business combination accounting, and other complex financial transactions.

  • Support implementation and optimization of enterprise financial systems, reporting enhancements, and process standardization initiatives.

  • Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting, internal controls, operational processes, and overall organizational efficiency.

  • Provide technical accounting guidance related to U.S. GAAP, consolidations, financial reporting, and other complex accounting matters.

  • Assist with enterprise financial reporting, audit preparation, regulatory compliance, and special accounting projects.

  • Prepare executive-level financial reports, presentations, and analyses for senior leadership, executive committees, and the Board of Directors.

  • Build collaborative relationships across finance and operational leadership teams while mentoring finance professionals and leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization and support evolving leadership responsibilities as organizational needs grow.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible finance and/or accounting experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide strategic financial initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.

  • Experience supporting large, complex, multi-entity organizations with multiple legal entities and diverse operations preferred.

  • Experience leading mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, organizational integrations, or enterprise transformation initiatives preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Expert knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and complex financial reporting.

  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced financial modeling.

  • Demonstrated expertise with consolidations, intercompany accounting, business combinations, and multi-entity organizations.

  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and executive presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership across a matrixed organization.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and sound business judgment.
