As our Strategic Finance Associate, you will be instrumental in shaping our financial forecast  and readiness for rapid growth. Responsible for timely reporting and analysis, you'll develop real-time analytics, partner with departmental stakeholders, and contribute to process enhancement and strategic initiatives.

You will report directly to our Director of Finance

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Prepare and maintain financial dashboards and reporting
  • Closely partner with senior leaders and support workforce planning model and forecast 
  • Support the creation of budgets and forecasts. Analyze financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights. 
  • Work on corporate finance processes, including investor relations, board decks, business reviews, and other ad-hoc projects
  • Support Month-End Close Activities: Accounts payable, invoicing, preparing journal entries, expense allocations 


Qualifications required for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years related financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong financial data analysis, data architecture, and data modeling skills
  • Experience with technical analysis via SQL, Mode and Excel is a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; and ability to communicate with senior level operators and C-suite
  • Desire to work in a startup environment: rigorous, energetic, and flexible; you enjoy doing whatever it takes to deliver on business-critical tasks


Location:

This is a fully remote position.  Our Wellthians are located throughout the United States but we are not accepting candidates in the following states: Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and West Virginia.

Role Requirements: 

To work from home, you must have a strong internet connection, quiet space to take calls and a professional (distraction free) environment.

Other Responsibilities:

Performing any other responsibilities and tasks as deemed necessary and assigned by the manager to contribute to the overall success of the team and organization.


Total Rewards Package

  • Salary Range: $86,000-$105,000 depending on experience
  • Remote work environment.
