Position : Strategic and Fraud Specialist, Cyber Threat Intelligence

GHOST (Global Hunting Oversight and Strategic Triage) team is the leader in advanced threat detection and strategic threat hunting, specializing in identifying and mitigating sophisticated cyber threat.

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Strategic and Fraud Analyst to join Coupang’s GHOST team within the Proactive Security organization. In this role, you will help bolster our cyber defense by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to evolving strategic and cyber fraud threats. You will work closely with the CTI and security teams to track and update strategic threats and cyber fraud events with near real-time monitoring. The role will be expected to track and update analysis on geo-political and major cyber trends impacting Coupang. The role will also support providing actionable fraud intelligence and ensure proactive threat detection and response.

 What will you do?  

• Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence: Continuously monitor all-source intelligence to identify and track strategic issues relevant to Coupang.

• Cyber Fraud Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor open and closed-source intelligence platforms to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber fraud events relevant to Coupang.

• Dark Web and Criminal Marketplace Monitoring: Monitor Dark Web and criminal marketplaces to identify events and trends posing potential threats to Coupang.

• Security Incident Response: Collaborate with the incident response team to provide context and actionable intelligence during security events and incidents.

• Threat Actor Profiling: Track and analyze threat actor groups and their techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs), and apply this knowledge to improve Coupang's threat detection and response capabilities.

• CTI Reports: Prepare and deliver detailed strategic reports on threat intelligence and response activities.

• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and third-party threat intelligence providers to share threat data and improve the organization’s overall threat landscape visibility.

Essential Qualifications: 

• Experience: At least combined-10 years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cyber Fraud Analysis, Geo-Political Risk Analysis, or related fields. Experience with security incident response and handling advanced persistent threats (APT).

• Technical Skills:

  • Understanding and experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Security Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain.

  • Familiarity with threat intelligence feeds, IoCs (Indicators of Compromise), IOAs (Indicators of Attack), and TTP analysis.

  • Knowledge and experience with dark web and phishing threat monitoring.

• Analytic Tradecraft:

  • In-depth understanding of analytic tradecraft, in drafting and reviewing, finished analytics products

  • Experience in conducting briefings to audience of all levels, including technical and non-technical executives and decision makers  

• Language Skills: 

  • Intermediate to advanced English skills (written and verbal) are required to communicate technical information clearly to global teams and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in drafting analytic products on geo-political risk issues

• E-commerce and retail industry-specific fraud expertise.

• Experience with threat intelligence and cyber fraud topics in and around Taiwan.

• The certifications of IT security or IT infrastructure.

• Intermediate to advanced English skills (written and verbal) are required to communicate technical information clearly to global teams and management.\
