Job Description

The SA&I Commercial team at NIQ/GfK is dedicated to driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and uncovering new business opportunities. 

As the growth engine of NIQ/GfK, the Sales function plays a critical role in the company’s overall success. 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading sales and renewals within your assigned portfolio—building a healthy and sustainable pipeline, identifying and developing new revenue streams, and strengthening relationships with existing clients. 

While the primary focus will be on Financial Services and T&D  the scope of the role might extend to a few new sectors to expand. 

In your role, you would:  

  • Drive sales and renewals for existing accounts for own Consumer Behavior Insights + Brand (CBI+B) scope securing pipeline, new revenue opportunities and an accurate forecasting while maintaining customer relationships  
  • Develop a complete and interconnected understanding of customer's industry/business/markets/clusters  
  • Partner with Customer Success and other relevant teams (eg. Retail Measurement, Retailer + Tech & Durables Account Leaders) to develop and execute Account Plans and JBPs  
  • Working with Customer Success teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Collect, analyze, act-on and escalade as appropriate Voice of Customer feedback  
  • Expand customer network to identify new budget holders  
  • Escalate product needs and trends related to Consumer Behaviour Insights and Brand (CBI+B) products and solutions

Qualifications

  • Min 7-10+ years of experience in working with Financial Services/Tech/Telco/Automobile clients
  • Solid understanding of data analytics industry, business model, products, services, and solutions like Brand Health, Segmentation, Usage & Attitude studies, Shopper and Shopping Behavior, Customer Experience and Advertising Effectiveness.
  • Candidate with consumer insights market research agency background (either current or previously) will have added advantage
  • Solid sales skills and developed sales expertise in target scope   
  • Solid understanding of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers

Skills Required

  • 7-10+ years experience working with Financial Services, Technology, Telecom, or Automobile clients
  • Solid sales skills with proven experience driving sales and renewals, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of data analytics industry, products and solutions (Brand Health, Segmentation, Shopper behavior, CX, Advertising Effectiveness)
  • Experience partnering with Customer Success and cross-functional teams to develop Account Plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
  • Background in consumer insights or market research agency
  • Deep understanding of market trends and interdependencies impacting customers
