Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to serves as a strategic thought partner and force multiplier to senior leadership: translating ambiguity into structured, executive-ready narratives, decision frameworks, and strategic insights.
This role focuses on shaping thinking rather than driving execution, converting loosely defined ideas into compelling stories and actionable perspectives that accelerate decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Translate loosely defined concepts, conversations, and inputs into executive-level presentations, strategic narratives, and decision materials with clear tradeoffs and recommendations
- Apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving to break down complex issues, define core problems, and identify risks, gaps, and assumptions
- Synthesize diverse inputs: including data, stakeholder perspectives, and business context, into clear, insight-driven viewpoints
- Craft compelling "so what" and "why it matters" messaging to drive alignment and inform decision-making
- Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership by challenging assumptions, refining ideas, and strengthening clarity and positioning
- Ensure consistency and cohesion of messaging across key strategic initiatives
- Deliver high-quality, executive-ready outputs within rapid turnaround timelines (typically 24-48 hours) with minimal direction
- Partner closely with transformation and program teams to transition well-defined strategies into execution
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of experience in financial services, with focus on consumer banking or lending
- 4+ years of experience in strategic planning and/or consulting, supporting consumer banking or consumer banking initiatives
- Experience delivering strategic insights by combining analytics, market intelligence, and business context
- Strong executive presentation and communication skills, with experience supporting senior leadership forums
- Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
- Experience partnering across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to influence outcomes
- Experience operating in fast-moving environments, producing high-quality work with limited oversight
- Background in consulting or structured strategy roles, with consulting firm experience preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools and leveraging AI & technology to drive efficiency and insight
- Advanced Microsoft Office suites experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
