What You’ll Drive
- Individualized Study Planning – Develop and manage personalized 36-, 24-, or 18-month study plans aligned with the school’s Career School Plan and mutually agreed goals between students, parents, and the school (on behalf of SA).
- Ongoing Academic Support – Monitor student performance throughout their academic journey and adjust the study plan as needed based on ability, pace, and performance.
- Counseling & Goal Setting – Provide one-on-one academic and motivational counseling to students and parents, supporting academic goals, morale, and well-being.
- Progress Tracking & Issue Resolution – Track and follow up on academic performance, identifying issues and facilitating support in collaboration with TAs or subject specialists.
- Monthly Reporting – Conduct regular meetings with the Teaching Assistant (TA) team to discuss student progress and issue personalized monthly progress reports.
- Consultation Scheduling – Coordinate and manage appointments for academic and motivational consultations with students and parents.
- Satisfaction Monitoring – Gather feedback and evaluate student and parent satisfaction with the TA team and overall academic services.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Psychology, any Science field, or a related area.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in academic advising or educational counseling.
- In-depth knowledge of the TCAS university admission system, including academic requirements and preparation strategies.
- Experience in personalized academic planning, exam preparation strategy, score improvement planning, and portfolio development.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to offer effective one-on-one consultations.
- High emotional intelligence with a student-centered mindset and ability to manage sensitive information and student data effectively.
Skills Required
