As the Strategic Accounts Manager, you will be the driving force behind our organization's most unique and complex relationships. Your strategic vision and leadership will be instrumental in understanding strategic customer needs, developing growth plans, ensuring the successful execution of those plans, and coordinating across teams and functions to develop optimal outcomes and grow the business. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Operates with a holistic understanding of Signature’s strategic pillars/values, base operations, and successfully navigates projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of strategic customers' business objectives, challenges, and market dynamics.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at the client's organization.
  • Promote and maintain customer relationships by conducting professional sales calls and quarterly business reviews, including on-site visits to customers and airports.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with operational leaders, General Managers and other local leadership teams, fostering a culture that promotes and understands the criticality of safety awareness and prevention through understanding safety-related intelligence and operational risks.
  • Serve as the commercial primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns and providing timely resolutions.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to meet client needs.
  • Monitor account performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of contracts between companies, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify potential growth opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Anticipate potential issues and proactively address them to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market changes that could impact clients.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to foster in-person relationships and conduct business reviews.

Supervisor and Financial Responsibilities:

  • Strong leadership acumen will greatly enable this Manager to align internal teams and push forward with initiatives that advance the partnership with these customers while advancing Signature’s business objectives.
Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in strategic account management, sales, or a related client-facing role.

Additional knowledge and skills:

  • Strong understanding of the private/general aviation business and customers' challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing business trends and performance.
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets and conduct scenario analyses/modeling. Keen focus on accuracy
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Ability to manage a diverse range of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and partners throughout the business
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, oral, and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with exemplary organization and resolution management skills. Must possess a "can do" attitude
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully executing against tight deadlines, with a collaboration mindset
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues skillfully
  • Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams at a senior level
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking principles to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Independent judgment is required to recommend objectives, evaluate new problem-solving approaches, and assess changing facts or conditions.
  • Advanced skills required in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
