About the role - Mō te tūranga
As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of high‑value customers, building deep, multi‑level relationships and uncovering opportunities for revenue growth and collaboration.
In this role, you will:
- Develop actionable insights into customers’ needs and design tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Use data and analytics to inform decision‑making, optimise performance, and drive sustainable results.
- Collaborate across Team Global Express to ensure exceptional service and seamless delivery.
- Lead solution selling across transport and warehousing, including:
- 3PL warehousing (inbound, storage, pick‑pack, dispatch)
- Transport (linehaul and metro)
- eCommerce fulfilment, returns, and value‑added services
- Craft end‑to‑end offerings that improve cost efficiency, service quality, and supply chain resilience.

To succeed as a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll combine commercial acumen with a customer‑centric mindset and a passion for solution selling.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in key account management within a service‑based industry; exposure to transport and warehousing is highly desirable.
- Strong solution‑selling capability across transport and warehousing, with confidence in building multi‑level relationships and influencing outcomes.
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret revenue, margin and trading data to inform decisions and craft compelling customer narratives.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and structured, proactive territory planning.
