Job Description

We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our LGC Assure team! A background in the food certification industry would be required for this position.

You will be responsible for the retention, growth and development of all assigned accounts across all sectors of Assure business unit. You will conduct and detail ongoing account planning, understand customers’ needs, and successfully implement strategic activities for assigned accounts.

Additionally, you will build strong and long-lasting relationships with assigned accounts within the LGC Assure sectors and act as the central point of contact for customers, understanding their business needs, and ensuring their complete happiness.

You'll be encouraged to drive revenue growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts and to become a trusted resource to their assigned account contacts encouraging opportunities for expansion.

Qualifications

  • Shown account management experience in high touch industries, preferably food, certification or supplement safety related.
  • Sales & Engagement – Capable of uncovering needs, demand generation, persuasion and negotiation.
  • Product Knowledge – Experience developing value propositions and developing solutions.
  • Communication - Outstanding written and verbal skills.
  • Leadership – Places high value on relationship management and teamwork
  • Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution and consensus building skills.
  • Keenly diligent to detail
